Experience unique safari activities every day and learn about the local Maasai culture from the Maasai, the experts of the Savannah.
Game Drive Safari
A game drive is conducted early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Usually, it lasts two to three hours but there are exceptions where you can experience a full day or half day game drive.
Walking Safaris
Walking Safaris are a fantastic way to explore the Maasai Mara plains on foot. Treading the path predators and other wildlife tread in search of their next meal or in search of the nearest waterhole, makes your senses come alive. Your feet gently but firmly pound the earth as the wind blows bringing you the scents that are all around you. The sun warms your skin as its rays transform the cool air into the warm savannah weather, on a backdrop of undulating landscapes and clear blue skies.
Depending on your fitness level, your walk can be 1 – 2 hours long with a well laid out breakfast along the way or upto a full day with all your meals served under an acacia tree, providing you with a front row seat to the beautiful savannah. The walking safaris are safe and we do not need armed guides except for the spears that form part of the Maasai regalia.
The Maasai guides have walked these paths for generations and they are extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the vast Mara plains. After showing you the intricate details of the savannah and sharing stories in between, the Maasai guides will get you back to camp where you can relax, unwind and reminisce over your day, walking and exploring the Maasai Mara plains like the Maasai have done for generations.
